THE BREAK UP

I know most of you can relate to this story. At one time or another in your lives you will feel the pain and loss of someone very special to you. Whether this is through divorce, death or a relationship break up, the pain is very real and can be debilitating. I was involved with a man who lived far away from me. We did not start out this way but after a few months, due to children's custody situation, he moved to Arizona. We kept in touch and he came here every month. He was a caring man but didn't seem to have bounadies with his children or his ex-wife. He seemed aloof and unable to share his feelings. I didn't realize it then but he had some very confusing issues "unmanagable" and "unidentifiable". I stayed in the relationship for four years always wondering why it was so difficult for him to express himself and be supportive for me. I didn't realize then that very simply, though I loved him, my needs were never met and he was not the right man for me. I had hope that someday my needs would be met but this never happened. No matter how much you love someone and how much you feel attracted to them or how much you may feel this is your "soul mate" if your needs are not being met and this person does not seem to care if your needs are being met they will likely never be met by this person. Cut your losses and know that you WILL find someone better for you. Someone more able to meet your needs, show their true selves, put you first and be emotionally supportive. Intimacy is sharing our truths. If your partner cannot or is not doing this with you now, CUT YOUR LOSSES! and GET OUT! It is time to MOVE ON! Celebrate the love you shared, cherish the special moments, appreciate the goodness there was and say GOOD-BYE. Now with a peaceful ending open your heart to true love, real love. You deserve this!
